just been down the lottie and the wind has blown my onion stalks over, they were planted last nov and were doing really well, will this harm them, should i do anything

Not a lot you can do unfortunately.  It may check their growth, but it shouldn't kill them.

My sweetcorn has taken a hell of battering.  Nothing for it but to see if it will recover.  :-(

my onions are the same but on closer inspection they are not snapped so i am hoping for a recovery if the wind lets them.
if they don't show a sign of recovery i may loosely tie them together for a week to see if that helps.
