Sorry if this seems a dumb question but if i give my hens a melon can i leave all the seeds in. Just wondering if it might be too much. Thanks

I've given mine squash with the seeds in and they have never suffered any ill effects, so I reckon they will be fine. I think my lot would explode with excitement at a melon. I might get them one, if I see one cheap, just to see them go wild

My daughter's chickens were almost overcome with excitement at a melon to eat. One we had "went over" and they were very grateful recipients indeed
