What colour should this stuff be, brown or white?
-
Hi, mine is a grey with a slight tan tinge! :D
-
Sounds like mine too. Reason I'm asking is that the info given to me said that the whiter it is the more silica is in it and it's not as effective or safe. Yet another site I was looking at said it should be white, if it isn't there is clay in it and it's not so good, talk about confused-dot-com. ::)
Onywize I've bought 5kg and will need ot use it, fingers crossed it's good stuff. :)

there are several grades of DE including food grade. Mine is a grey colour too :D
-
it is food grade that you should be using. This website may be of help to you:-

That is cheap!! I got mine from here as they were the cheapest I could fine. I have no where to store 25kg so opted for the 5kg.
