we got our first duck egg today along with 7 hens eggs soo excited ,13 year old brat thinks where sad (could be the fact iv text everyone to tell them) :shock:

Nothing sad about it, be proud I was when we got our first egg or perhaps I'm just sad to  :lol:

good on ya ,, the duck eggs make great yorkshire puds  but put a teaspoon raising agent in the batter  :wink:

£3 for 6 free range duck eggs ,,,,,,,,,,, since when have ducks been anything but free range . grrrrrrrrrrrrr :x

what breed are your ducks?

we got rouen ducks ,got them free off guy who had about 30 of various breeds he decided to downsize

if ya gonna have ducks make sure you get ya some muscovies ( barbaries ) they eat excellent and lay good eggs . 18 mth old summer birds are best for the table ,personally i prefer them to any others for eating taste wise
