Title: Top up or not top up raspberry wine
Post by: Sprogg on July 10, 2018, 15:00
Hi, new here and new to wine making. I’ve just strained my raspberry wine which I had in a bucket and transferred it to a demijohn, however it looks like I should’ve made more as it doesn’t fill the demijohn. What do I do?

Top up with cooled boiled water up to the shoulder. When it has calmed down top up to bottom of neck. I leave mine for about 3 months before racking into a new demijohn.
An alternative to water is to use white grape juice from the supermarket.
