Ginger, revisted for the last time

We have had a couple of Heavy Ground Frosts over the last few days, and the Ginger plants in the polytunnel took a battering. So i dug them up......................... Oh Um. Well i won't be planting any next year, one had really good top growth and 3 small ( 10p size ) tubers growing on the original plant. the rest had rotted away.    oh well i gave it a go.
