Have you ever seen an egg like this ?
Its the first egg this hen has laid,
She was in there nearly all day and in a bit of a trance the whole time
I have never seen an egg like it or the size of it for a first egg

Possibly a double yolker, 2 for the price of 1.     They often have glitches when they start laying.  The shell quality looks good though.  Bet she won't want to do that every day.

I have had double yolks before, but the eggs were normal, this is anything but normal, I can understand why she was in a trance while laying this 

Has anyone else seen a egg like this ?

I wonder if I could put it on ebay ?

yes mine have laid eggs that shape before - it's almost like 2 eggs stuck together

she is walking around looking rather bemused  I wonder if she will attempt another egg today 

If she lays another egg like that, I guess she will be John Waynes best mate
