I got some red onions and garlic half price so going to plant them later if rain holds off

Tempted by onion sets (one bag in the allotment, two bags of shallots in the garden, but you can never have enough, right?).

My only concern is that they won't get enough foliage before they "bulb up" - I don't want picklers or spring onions really, I want usable (if small) onions for the kitchen.

Tempted though, at half price. The last bag from Wilkos (at full price - £1.48) had 150+ in it.

I picked up a couple of lilies and dahlias yesterday, didn't need any veg, but the state of the potted plants was heart breaking, even the ones that were still full price were half dead    they didn't look like they'd been watered for days

Got some polka rasps for 1.49 each .Bargain,as long as they live.

Not half price but 20p lettuce plug plants should have been £2.48 bargain
