There's a blackbirds nest in next doors bushes, and I've just watched our chooks chase off a magpie that's 'hanging around'.

I just hope it hasn't discovered that nest. At the bottom of our garden there collar doves too with a nest.

I hate magpies!  Evil little !**&*

Go chickens! I watched mine chase off one of our cats which was stalking a baby blackbird in the garden.
