Mornin All

Just a quick question. Can anybody see a good reason whay I can't use the space between my Gooseberry bushes to plant sweetcorn?  I'm way behind cos of work and havn't got a clear bed to plant it in.

I used my fruit bed for onions last year and all was well.  I'm like you nowhere prepared as still weeding as I didn't get to my plot for about a month through work    

I don't see the problem with putting them there, needs must an all that     They like muck, and if they get fed properly they should be fine

None at all, provided you can still get them in in some sort of 'block' formation & allow for a bit of sprouting room for the goosegogs.

Feed them well to reduce the competition from the goosegogs.  Sweetcorn are quite hungry plants !
