Baby Leeks
« on: July 30, 2011, 16:53 »
I bought a packet of leek seeds that are for sewing now to produce baby leeks by the end of the season, has anyone used these before and are they successful?

I think baby leeks are just small leeks not left to mature.  ??? The question would be then, will any leek seeds planted now reach baby leek stage before "the end of the season". Probably is the answer.

did you see those tiny ones Monty don was planting last night?

in lttle clumps to produce baby leeks..........I'd give it a go, you'll get  'spring onion type leeks'
if nothing else  :D
