hi, everybody has anybody got any photos of fruit cages on there plots or any good ideas how to make one as money is now tight as i am now out of work as i would of liked to buy a ready made one , thanks again alfie

I used an old gazebo frame (well two incomplete frames) one was mine the other was from freecycle.  Hubby sprayed it camouflage green!  (It was a bit glaring white).
I'll be netting them over in spring.  I'm not sure if this photo shows it well?
It houses 4 fruit bushes.

I'm sure if you put an request on freecycle, there are lots of people who have broken or incomplete gazebo frames knocking around in their garages.  I know I had mine sitting there for ages before the inspiration struck.

I'm still trying to work out how best to net it for complete protection and yet give good access.  Not sure I've actually made it high enough, but I could always add leg extensions to it! (I didn't do it full height).
