Good afternoon everyone, just getting our yluetide ham underway.  We normally glaze with mustard and brown sugar, but as the bees have let us have a morsel of their labours I looked up a recipe for honey glazed ham.

Not much difference, but at the bottom of the method I saw this.
 "Our Most Popular Alternative,  Healthy pepper, tomato & ham omelette".

Someone's been on the Yuletide toddies already! Just as a thought, have you tried maple syrup as a glaze constituent?

There is something against maple syrup...it costs. When we have honey bees willing to give up just a little of their produce for free!  Well not quite free, I've been feeding them sugar water and lemon grass all year to keep them healthy.

I think I may treat them to a shiny new bar top hive next year now I know a little more about beekeeping.
