Well, I wont make tea with it (not a great lover of that)

got no kids or bee's, not even a wasp, certainly wouldn't put it in a salad, there is no way I would think of cultivating it, I just want to kill it off, get rid of it

Its too low for the lawn mower, it just skims over the top (I'm sure it actually ducks when I get the lawn mower out, it don't even touch it, if I set the blade any lower I'm cutting dirt :(

The ones I pulled out even took root in the compost pile >:(

Havent found a weed killer that does with these things
It's all about the journey, not the destination

My theory is that life is too short to do battle with a weed that isn't threatening your food supply/production, so I just ignore them.  They are green, grass is green, who can tell from a distance what they are looking at?   :)

Could you paint on that gel roundup, that kills down to the roots, maybe do a trial area, plus stop it seeding & repopulating itself

That's a good idea Snowy. I shall add that to my shopping list.

I think I will give this gel a try, I used the spray and that is why I have these bare patches (not sure how to repair them, I don't know if the Roundup is still active in the ground)

Once the weed is dead I think you're OK to re-sow seed after 6 weeks. But there should be advice on the packaging.

oh, c'mon,  :nowink: the bottle was over a year old, when it was finished I binned it

Now I got new seed (fast growing, a box of seed, feed and weedkiller, (all in one) :)

Lets see how this gets on now

The small lawn we had down south, which was rock hard in summer and a bog in winter. we astroturfed.
use a small fork to take out dandelions and plantain up here. Tried feed and weed and had it kill some of the grass as well.
Would love a flat lawn, but the moles think differently....until they find the traps
