Post by: no_akira on May 17, 2017, 13:05
Finally got around to completing this project... cost about £30 Lean-to Polytunnel

Roof batons from fellow roofer plot owner. Heras panel with side cut off and used to create the arched roof.

Front panel rain run off waters tomato / aubergine bed

top panel rear arch run off waters under path where fresh manure is stored

Nice and toasty in here oh and its a rain shelter

Notice "suspended" plant tray, try and climb up there "Mr Snail" ?  :tongue2:

That's very creative! :)

Are you fairly sheltered from wind?

I'm afraid you'll find Mr Snail is very good at climbing - when we had hanging baskets, I think they had a parachute brigade as well.  :(

Yes "fairly" sheltered.. The plot dips about a foot at the bottom end of plot.
Also the lowish trees behind the fence further helps to reduce the wind.

There is a 4" gap between the tray and back wall... unless snails have been in training for the long jump😁😱

I'd put nothing past them.....
