Title: Does moulting make them itchy?

Just noticed Gladys letting out a squawk, jumping in the air and flapping her wings about 3 times in ten minutes.  She is moulting and went broody a few days ago.  Can't see any passengers. Does moulting make them itch?  :unsure:
