Not me. There doesn't seem to be enough leafy growth on mine yet.

Not a chance. Now I might have put mine a bit later than most, but mine are only through the ground by about 6 inches. 2 varieties where planted, King Edward and Charlotte.

I have a system that stops me poking about too early. I plant a small cold greenhouse crop of 5 or 6 earlies end of January and allow any healthy looking volunteers outside from last year to hang around until about Mayday before I dig them up. They have been great and sustaining me for the last 4 weeks but have now run out.
My jerseys and Charlottes were planted on 14 March and am looking forward to the traditional furtle shortly. Next week I think for the Jerseys.

None of mine look anywhere near ready yet. The frost at the end of April knocked them back, so it will probably be another three weeks before I can harvest anything.

Not digging but tipping out. I always grow tubs of earlies in the greenhouse for a May crop and tipped out the last one today. 1044g of lovely clean Colleen from one seed. I'd recommend the variety Colleen to everyone as they are an early 'all rounder' and bulk up nicely. Sharpes Express grown in the greenhouse averaged only half the weight of the Colleen from a 15l tub.
