One of our chickens went missing last night - she was not in the chicken coup nor was she in the duck pen (sometimes the chickens share space with the ducks) and we checked the run several times to see if she was in of the overgrown areas. There were no feathers and we did not think that she had been taken by a fox. It was getting dark by the time we searched all of the garden in case she had flown over the fence. OH also looked under the chicken coup with a torch but could not see anything.

So this morning OH lifted up the coup (this is a large, heavy wooden structure) and there she was, sleeping on the ground and looking all innocent.
