Help - cape gooseberry dropping
« on: August 15, 2022, 19:19 »
Over night, lots of my cape gooseberry fruit seem to have decided to drop. Does anyone know why this might have happened? They’ve been well-watered and are in a polytunnel (next to the open door).

They don’t look quite ripe - a very pale orange/green - and I tried a couple which were a bit tart. I’ve never eaten them before so I’m not even sure if this is what they’re supposed to taste like! If I pop them on the window sill, will they ripen???
