I have in my unheated greenhouse broccoli grown from seed, which I planted last year in 8” plant pots. It is now 10” high and there are small florets just forming. Can I leave it to grow in pots or should I transplant it in the spring.

When you say, broccoli, do you mean, sprouting broccoli?

In which case it's an interesting enterprise, but should think you harden off and plant outside asap, so you might get something of them.

I was given the seeds, not sure what type, was just expecting it to be like the broccoli we normally buy.

If there are florets forming, I doubt it will grow much more, whatever you do.  An 8" pot is not very big for the root system of a broccoli plant, and I suspect that is why it has not grown much.

Also a greenhouse is not it's natural environment. (Neither, come to that, are the paddy fields formerly known as allotments).
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Although the plants are small they look very healthy, is it possible to eat the leaves and stalks of broccoli :?:

It's generally the florets & the adjacent leaves, (if we're talking about the sprouting type). Stalks would be tough.
