Title: What breed is she?

This is Belle our latest arrival. My problem is I have been told she maybe a ?? or a ??  Ithink I know what breed she is but would like some expert opinion.

I'm no expert but she looks like a hybrid - albeit a blue one

They come in all shades of brown, white, lavender, blue, black, speckled
I was looking at the colours the last time I was at the local suppliers. They are beautiful aren't they and with all the hybrid vigour and egg laying capabilities

If that's indeed what she is  :)

Someone far more knowledgeable than me should be along shortly

Aye, she is a bluebelle. A specially bred hybrid, who is VERY pretty, and lays really well.  Mine is a real character, and can get a bit stroppy, pecking on the patio door if I am late with the corn. She follows me everywhere, and greets me when I get home from work. She wont be picked up and cuddled like my other girls, she side steps me artfully rather than running away.  They are gorgeous, and said to be bred for hardiness too.

She is a lovely looking hen

I would also have said Bluebelle, but I have 2 Bluebelles who have black combs :unsure:?  So now I am confused  :D  Do I have Bluebells or not  :)

she looks just like my bluebelle  :D
