hi all , after having a small sucess with parsnips last year i have got some more in i just planted them in september which you might think a bit late but they just dont like the heat but i have two nice lines that are about 3/4 ins tall so fingers crossed i wont have them for Christmas but i can wait , in the mean time there is allways celeriac as a substitute its lovley roasted .

Isnt that very late, arent parsnips supposed to go in around february/march time? :unsure:

Chrissie's in Greece, so you have to make adjustments for the climate, as she said.
