Title: Yesterdays bargain (at least I think so)

I picked up a pack of 4 x Ball 945ml preserving jars for £6.99 instead of £10.99 because the disk from 1 lid is missing and the packaging was damaged!

To me this is a bargain as I am sure you can get replacement lids in fact aren't you supposed to buy new lids every time? Plus I thought the one with the lid part missing would look beautiful on my table full of sweet peas :-)

So now to look up recipes of what I want to use them for :-)

I'm sure someone will come and burst my bubble and tell me I could have got them cheaper but hey ho :-)

I could see some fan y pickle onions with the red chillis and stuff in not to exciting but i also like the cookie mixes you layer up and put the recipe on a lable and the ingredients as well and if your getting a nice jar as well , nice gift .
