First apples

I planted a couple of apple tree's last year and was told thast they will not bear fruit until two years after planting but i have loads shall i take the apples off  or leave them on to grow.

They will weaken the growth of the trees Jim.  I would take most of them off and just leave a few to taste.

Trees which crop heavily one year often crop badly the next year (biannual bearing) so it's often a good idea to thin the crop if large anyway to ensure some fruit the next year.
