Title: Greenhouses Survive Storm Brendan
Post by: John on January 19, 2020, 15:02
Both greenhouses survived the storm, low maintenance bed under mulch, growing chicken feed.

Just maybe the hard work weather proofing your greenhouses is paying off!

I think the storm was literally shaking things loose. It's in a sheltered spot and so there's not more to do.
There's an outside light that covers the greenhouse - that stopped working and then that circuit kept tripping the house off. The electrician called to see about some other work and looked at it. The cause was the switch - it's IP66 outdoor switch, totally sealed and totally full of water! Oh the joys of horizontal rain jetwashing... :)

It makes a flat in Spain look very inviting for the winter months...
