Just introducing myself
« on: January 31, 2007, 18:40 »
Hello!

It took a while for my ID to be accepted here, but second time lucky... :)

I recognise a couple of folk from Downsizer I think (Hi Supersprout  ).

I garden at home - lucky for me - and this year I have covered some lawn areas with cardboard and horse manure ready for some potatoes and onions.

Various other little projects are coming along too.  This year I plan to scale up on previous years, so I'm hoping to keep motivation high by chatting online.

I also hope that reading online will remind me WHEN I should be doing various things.... one disadvantage of not being on an allotment - there's no-one to watch and copy!

Anyway I'm away to browse some more now!

Sally

Ps If this link works, it should be a pretty photo of my greenhouse in the morning sun!

Sally (N.Ireland) Organic as far as I know!

Plant plenty.  Celebrate success.  (Let selective memory deal with the rest.)

Hi Sally!     I initially registered as Sally... but somehow it didn't work.  So I registered with another e-mail as Salkeela.  Then John activated both and told me to choose.... So Salkeela it is to avoid confusion... I did notice there was another Sally.  (Sal = me, Keela = my horse!)

Actually I rarely meet another Sally in real life, but have now met a few on forums.... mostly gardening/ecofriendly ones!  Does that say something about us? :?

Sal
