Covid Tier 4. Is this allowed ?
« on: January 04, 2021, 15:54 »
Somebody I know, very nearby, has a single car garage with a shed on the side.   He goes in there, where he has built a little bar, has chairs, radio, lots heaters.   OK.     -     but is he allowed to have the friend in with him all day, every day.   ?    Mrs Bouquet

I don’t think so, Mrs B.  Unless they are in a support bubble.

Isn't a support bubble to care for someone.. I didn't think having a day on the lash counted as care lol

There is definitely not a support bubble, just mates.   One has prostate cancer and is a diabetic.  The other drink 10/15 bottles of strong ale every day.      They obviously don;t care.     Be interesting to see if it carries on now.    Just wanted to check, thanks.   Mrs B

DRINKS HOW MUCH? Anyway, our total lockdown measures are so necessary that it means his "pub" should be shut down forthwith.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Not really a lot that can be done about it.    Much as I think it is appalling, I am not "telling".   We have to live around these people, who I am sure could be very unpleasant.    But, the beery man hasn't been here today.
Apparently he spends about £120 or more /week on his tipple, but I have never seen him even appearing to have been drinking  although I can watch him do it.     He must be a real alcoholic.      ::)  His wife said he went to a party once when he was young and drank 27 bottles, and walked out quite normally !!!!  Are there some people who just by-pass the alcohol ?   Mrs B
