I have just planted a dozen or so sunflowers, I know they will look great at the end of the plot for the summer but then whot?
Dose annybody know of a good use for the seeds, outher than feeding the birds?

Hi nobby and welcome

Feeding the birds is the best use I know.  If you get enough you could squeeze out the oil and run your diesel car on it!  :wink:

You can roast them for your own use but they are the very devil to husk.

Yes, feeding hens (if other than wild birds) or growing for cut flowers.
