octagon 10, are they any good????
« on: June 12, 2010, 16:50 »
hi, i have a octagon 10, i know they are old but whats the hatch rate with them, the reason im asking is my friend who has a octagon 20, said that the hatch rate is very low with them, i have 10 eggs in it at the min and she saying that i would be lucky to get half of them hatch...is she right??,
i only open it evey 3(only done this once) to check the water or do i need to do that more often as she says the water will go very quick in them, i have the temp between 37.o to 37.5,  or am i being silly... and worring about nothing

please help....

I've had good results on the whole from my octagon 10.  You are doing the right thing by not opening too often.  You can download the manual from the brinsea website.  Last hatch from it was 6/6
