Field beans or Hungarian grazing rye. But a bit of a bu%%er to dig in.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I planted grazing rye last Autumn and have dug in over the last 2 weeks or so, very easy it was about 6" hgh and just turned over to rot down, no probs.

There are so many to choose from  :shock: , I wonder if anyone has had success with any in particular :?: I want to get the most from my plot and have read this is what to do in winter months when the ground would otherwise be left idle...
