Hello, one of my girls seems to have a bit of a runny bottom. Is it just one of those things with chickens, like any other animal and is there something I can give them to help. Could it just be higher intake of water due to the hot weather? All are in perfect health other than that.

It could be the hot weather, if its a bit smelly, might be a little upset tummy, I use apple cider vinegar four weeks out of five to keep diegestion tip top. :)

thanks for the tip foxy i'll give it a go

what do you do with that foxy?

Add to the water at a ratio of 25ml to each ltr of water . You can get it from horsey shops cheapley or online for a few pennies more :)

ACV 4 weeks out of five?, thought it was 1 in 4?

I've gone well over the top now! My girls get a daily mash made with layers and water with added dried garlic, olive oil and ACV for a couple of weeks a month and their plumage is healthy, no sign of worms, poo fantastic ( ::)) AND they eat their layers. How many chooks have layers with French dressing, then? MAD, MAD. MAD
