Since the original post here, I've seen it demonstrated (on TV). It does look amazing, if not a little too good to be true..

Ben looked at all the comments on amazon and not one of them is complimentary which is disappointing :( 
Shame - it looks so clever but apparently they split really easily under the pressure - which is fairly pointless for a hose!

What isn't clear is that flow is restricted too as diameter of hose in the canvas cover is much smaller than standard garden hose.  This is also part of the reason why it's lighter.

To do what it does the liner has to be thin and soft.
There appears to be only a 30 day guarantee.

There is not a  12 month (or more) guarantee advertised that i can see .
