Greyness abounds with cloudy, misty and damp days. We need some colour
The dwarf iris are off, the cyclamen are bright little dots of hope and the snowdrops are emerging looking serene and lovely as always. It will be spring soon

Plot primroses.
These started as a few scrawny plants rescued from the communal dump heap. I saw flowers struggling through the waste and rescued them. A couple of years on and the little spot I planted them in next to my darlek bins is a blaze of colour

Tulips
The dwarf ones are out and they are Lilac Wonder and Little Beauty. The first of the taller ones are just starting as well. Those are Gavota and Strong Gold.

A few pics from my garden this April- I finally feel like I am getting somwhere with it!
In the mix are tulips, Dicentra, spanish bluebell, Solomans Seal, wild garlic (all 3 grow like weeds!) And pansies that are still flowering from September.

A pretty, but perhaps not exceptional Azalea in my front garden this afternoon.
What is remarkable is that it was there when I bought the house 21 years ago, and has had literally no care or maintenance of any kind since then - perhaps 20% wider but I for one can certainly forgive a touch of middle aged spread!

Sow
your seeds,
plant
your plants.
What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
