£4.50 seems VERY reasonable for POL's.

Mmmmm £4.50 is VERY cheap and a basic injection is probably just the Mareks, but doesn't mean a lot.  Look at grumpyDad, his original birds were supposed to be vaccinated for everything, but they still died.

Does seem too good to be true! But I could just be an old cynic!

Also I don't always trust people who only give a mobile number.  Perhaps you could ring them and ask if you can visit the place?  Have a look around and see what you think of the set up?

I know ours isn't the best of set ups, but I always invite people round to see the chickens and know that they are looked after and happy.

Well being honest I agree, I've decided I'm going to go to Newland Poultry by Worcester, a bit more expensive but its a very nice setup and I dont want to risk all my other girls.

wherever you get your girls from have a couple of visits just to be sure before buying. Inspect their animal husbandry and thoroughly check the girls over - I lost 7 birds through buying off a breeder and from not carrying out these checks, still you live and learn.
Staffies are softer than you think.
