So, I was so busy admiring someone's front door as I went in through their gate, that I tripped up a step I didn't notice
, and smashed my phone screen
. Luckily the phone is still working but clearly I need to decide whether to replace the screen (cost would be £70) or get a new phone.
The phone's about 2-3 years old, a motorola that probably cost about £150-180. It may be that replacing the screen is throwing good money after bad. The phone's memory is filling up (it's a 32GB phone) and performace is slowing a little - but other than that I'm still pretty pleased with it.
Motorolas are known for decent specs and performance, except for the cameras, which is where the compromise is found.
How much do you think I might have to pay for a semi-decent camera on an Android phone? Trying to decide which way to go from here. I'm slightly averse to the idea of shelling out £300+ for something that is designed to be replaced in the usual course of events within about 3-4 years anyway.
Thoughts??
