A couple of years ago you might have got it for a tenner!

Now small rotavators are like hens teeth.
I was talking to a chap this week who services and sells small garden machinery, said he could have sold 50 more rotavators this year if he could have got hold of them
Playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order!

Looks OK. I have a similar one and its very useful. Digs like a little beaver, and can be used at shalow deepths between the rows. Blades kook ok as well

It looks very much like a Howard 200 but the original colour was orange. I have one - around 40 years old and a beaut.... irreplacable!

If the engine runs and everything else is fine I'd go for it. Engine service cost me £90 recently - first time it has had any attention for around 30 years so they are very long lived machines. MIne continues to leak oil from the drive shaft (where the bushes are most likely worn) but this doesn't stop it running & digging well.

You can still get some Villiers spares / replacements on-line.

For the cost it could well prove to be a very useful little work-horse but, as with anything 2nd hand, you are taking a chance. I'd sooner have an older style rotovator than a new one that lacks the drive wheels which I guess this one has?

Good luck with it  ;)
