Bonfire Night
« on: November 01, 2010, 16:27 »
Hi,I know I've had a lot of posts today but I am very curious about how Pinky,Perky and Punk-Face will get on with all the fireworks and loud bangs on bonfire night.I do not like Bonfire Night myself so I will not be going to any Bonfires so I can comfort my chickens. Also I know this sounds stupid but because I lock my chickens in the coop at night I'm afraid that a stray firework\sparkeler will set my coop alight with Pinky,Perky and Punk-Face inside.I would like any advice on how I comfort my chickens and also on how you get on at Bonfire Night!!!!!!

                                        Thanks,

Ours were oblivious to all the bangs, whizzes, crackles and whoops last night from next door :D

Freya however hid in the back of the wardrobe :(

Hey Callum. As everyone else has said  don't worry about your hens they will be just fine and will snooze through all the noise. As for you if you do not like fireworks, stay indoors, close the curtains,  get your MP3, ipod whatever and play some music just loud enough to drown out the pops and whizzis but not so loud that you'll damage you young ears.
