We had a steady drizzle until midday and it's been pleasant since then.  Not looking forward to the weekend if, for once, they've got the forecast right.

I'm going up with everyone else, dank, damp and dismal,  When it rained , it rained. The wind against the side of the van, it's a high sided one, along the  road we travel along every day to get to work , was once again 'interesting'.   Buffeted and blown from side to side, it's supposed to get worse tomorrow,  thank goodness we don't work on Sundays.

Here, we didn't get much rain while it was light, but since teatime it's been persisting down, so hard against the kitchen window it sounded like hail  Plus the wind is beginning to howl down the chimney.
Time for bed with a hot-water bottle I think

John, we're a couple of hundred yards from the coast.  Sea water was pouring down the steps that lead up to the beach yesterday.  Neighbour has lived here 40 years and never has a problem.

The rain woke me up several times in the night and it's still chucking it down
Obviously the path along the Terrace is flooded as usual - so it'll be an indoor day for me.
