How to keep jumpers for the winter
« on: October 01, 2019, 19:06 »
I have always folded mine up and but them in drawers, so that they don't hang and get longer, and also to avoid those terrible marks in the shoulder that the hangers make.   As I have got older and feel the cold more, my jumpers are getting thicker, and me drawers are full up     What should I do ?  Mrs Bouquet

Have you room for another drawer? Or what about vacuum pack storage bags?

Try wearing your usual jumper and put another one on top so you're creating layers to keep the warmth in.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I am already wearing 3 layers , I look like the Michelin Person  :D.    But yesterday, I did buy a beautiful thermal quilted jacket, with fur inside the bottom of the sleeves to keep my wrists warm, a lovely stand up collar and a hood with long fur trim.    It is a lovely warm, bronze/gold colour as well, so it looks warm.  Mrs B

All you need now is someone waiting on your every wish to drape it over your shoulders and kiss your swan-like neck. If that doesn't keep you warm then nothing will!

I have just come up with a good idea.    If you've got bras with pads, and the bras die.  Use the pads over the ends of coat hangers - no more shoulder marks.  :D  Mrs B
