Been bright most of the day but then about 2pm went really dark and I thought, oh, oh, and then it cheered up again.  Now really bright and a normal sort of evening for us.

Steady rain yesterday evening, ditto this morning although it seems to be brightening up a bit now.

Total nearly half an inch - hurrah, although at 8C I don't think my flowers, fruit and veg will be racing along in celebration...

I have been feeling cold these last few days, and obviously so has the sun,  it pops out and says, brrrr, and pops back in.   Seriously, a bit misty and grey, breezy and promises again of some rain !!!! but not so far. Mrs B

Brought my tomato plants in today will take them back out for good on Monday - risk of frost next two nights.

Warm in the sun today, temperatures dropped fast tonight though. Pretty sure we've avoided the frosts that others are getting tonight so I've not taken any action tonight.

It looks to be grey and overcast, just above freezing overnight. Every drip of rain forecast hasn't arrived here and the freezing wind has dried the ground a treat. Not exactly a gardening weekend.

Too cold, have been putting the bedding plants under a covered area outside back door at night time, but last night the wind was icy, put them in garage nd shut the door.    No gardening for me today either !  Mrs B
