Title: Thunderbird software updater.
Post by: Kleftiwallah on July 14, 2021, 17:41
I/we are being blasted with Thunderbird software updater messages but try as I might I cannot get a simple answer to a simple question using the normal search avenues... why should I?

Can anyone explain what it is and why I should?  >:(  Cheers,  Tony.

I use Thunderbird but am not being bombarded - either I've updated without really noticing, or it hasn't reached me here yet!

I use Thunderbird too - it updates itself every few months on average, and certainly doesn't make any fuss about it.

Might be worth running an additional virus scanner like Malwarebytes (there is a free version) to make sure you've not picked up some form of malware.
