Title: Plug plants
Post by: Goosegirl on June 04, 2023, 08:50
For the past few years I've got my plug plants of begonias, lobelia, etc from Gardening Direct and they've been fine. This year there was quite a reduced selection and my first delivery of begonias didn't do very well and some of the plants broke away from their bases despite me being very careful when removing them from their trays. I did complain and got a replacement lot but still lost a few. Anyone know of another firm I could try next year?

I use Van Meuwen.  Never had a problem.    Mrs Bouquet

I keep my eyes open in the village shop and also the supermarkets as well.  Mrs B       Good luck

I had a look on Van Meuwen's website and their plants come from T&M so, by matter of principle, I won't bother with that firm - thanks anyway.

I suppose there are no local nurseries that you can have a trip to?
