A couple of small summer cabbages, a courgette, a mini cuke, tomatoes and french beans from the plot.

Bonus for the chooks as well. A handful of wheat that grew out of some bark chips that were in their run and that I was using as mulch  :)

2 cucumbers, 3 cherry tomatoes and a beef tomato, 4 golden bell, 5 hungarian hot wax and 6 frigilitto peppers, tomorrow will be cabbage (Greyhound) and some carrots (Nantes), Cauliflower is coming out to be reseeded with all year round and pea avola will be picked (still cropping heavily) my first moneymaker tomatoes are ripening in the greenhouse so will be picked and ripened off the bush.

A huge  bowlful of mixed tomatoes from the greenhouse & 2 cucumbers from the tunnel that I gave to my friend & a cabbage that went her way too, 2 very large kohl Rabi, I gave 1 away to a fellow plotter & brought 1 home to try with my salad for lunch & then forgot to have.

Cleared my beetroot bed yesterday and cooked them in the pressure cooker.
Two lots cooked so far 20minutes for the biggest & 15 minutes for the next size. Have a few tiddlers left but not bad considering the rabbits . HH
Keep digging

Collected six sweet corn cobs last night. Despite the variable weather the couple we had last night were sweet and tasty. HH

Cucumbers and onions did well. Garlic decided that this was not their year. All the rain got the slugs active. The first half of summer was hot and dry so almost completely without slug activity.

It's been a weird year, and meant I am very late pruning back the brambles that grow over over the fence from the railway line. So today, when I finally started the job, I was pleased to pick 2 big bowlfuls of blackberries. With a few apples off my tree, they'll make some nice pies  :D

Harvested this years crop of blueberries.....all 3 of them  a few of what surely must be the last of the summer raspberries & 3 blackberries from the fruit cage- it’s coming out later this year as they have a definite twang to them, I much prefer the wild ones around the edge of the site!
