Blackcurrant i've had this plant for two years now  can you tell me why it looks like this

What's matter with it, it looks healthy to me😊 It's Pruned to a bowl shape to let in air & light

What I noticed today that new growth is coming out the top but the buds hasn't opened in between the stems

Could it be big bud mite?

You might have some flower buds there, but it is really not possible to tell, the photo is too general a view.

It looks all right. It might be the case, what Salmo touched upon in the gooseberry thread, they are both too young simply, to fruit much.
