I have a bed full of squashes a mixture of courgettes, pumpkins, butternut and sweet dumpling.  The bed is now so intertwined I am not sure which is which, is they anyway of telling?  I have one the size of a small football and green so I am assuming that is pumpkin.  I know the courgettes as they are producing fruit everday.  It is the other 2 I am not sure of all the flowers appear to be yellow.  Any ideas gratefully accepted.
Time waits for no man and I can't wait for growth.

Hopefully the sweet dumpling should look something like this (or I have done something very wrong).  My butternuts have not formed so I can't help you there.

They look just like tiny butternut squash in shape, ie a narrow neck widening out to a spherical end.  They are sort of mottled/striped yellowy-green (from memory) but the shape is the important thing.  You will know when you see one.

Some of mine are more blocky in shape with no neck.

They are pale green with paler lengthways stripes.

That's what mine looked like too.  They grew like triffids and colonised the lawn.
