i've got 6 melon plants with about 20 flowers open in all but all the flowers look female!  :?  is that possible?

Is there a huge difference in male and female flowers? ? ? ? ? i've tickled them all with a paint brush and hope that works!  :roll:  :oops:

Tiny wee thing, like a little pea on the end of female flowers tells them apart, you'll have to look hard.

What sort is it?

they need loads of manure, loads of water and heat. Once you see 2-3 melons per plant forming, pinch off the growing ends so that energy concentrates on what will mature before fall sets in and light levels drop.

Oh, I thought I might be backwards and it may be some new variety, that's what really meant,  with mostly female flowers I don't have knowledge of.
