Hi all just a question about leaving carrots in the ground. I have some
 carrots in a raised bed,How long can i leave them in for , I was hoping
 untill Christmas . Should i keep them in or whip them out .
Digging ,Growing ,& the sport of kings.

keep them in (unless slugs are a problem)

Thanks WG  will keep them in ,Slugs dont seem to be a problem at the
 moment.

leave them in the ground, apply a thick layer of straw on top to keep them snuggly then dig 'em all through winter as and when you need them  8)
Gardening organically on chalky, stony soil.
