a friend just fetched me round what they called a pallet collar.two in fact.(came with a new gear box in for his truck)
they seem to be ideal for raised beds.
does any one know where to get them from?
does anyone else use them?

Hi Poppie

I took the baby out in her buggy on sunday teatime and walked passed a garden where a couple of pallet collars were being used for two raised beds- looked quite good.

Pallets are everywhere and can found easily - but unfortuantly I've never come across the collars, even tho I've done some skip diving in my time.

Think they are fairly expensive so that might be why you don't see them that often. I got a stack of raised beds made from really good pallets off freecycle but collars are better  :D
Staffies are softer than you think.
