Poppyseeds

They get sown naturally as soon as the seed heads are ripe and get distributed by the wind They then decide themselves when conditions are right for them to germinate. So some people just sprinkle them where they are to grow and leave them to it.
You might prefer to sow them in seed trays in autumn or early spring and plant them out as seedlings.
