Hi, do you think I could sow parsnips now or is it too late?

Way too late; should have been done by April at the latest.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Parsnips are the longest growing vegetable in the allotment.
They are sown very early and its usually late autumn/winter before they are cropped.
Different from carrots and beetroot, which can be sown at intervals.

Try some turnips not to late for them .
Get the kids involved let them have a small are to sow quick growing things so the can see them growing .
A great way to keep them involved.

Mooli? Not at all the same thing, but a number of late (big) radishes can go in now.

Its strange.  Ive had a few people ask me this recently saying they were getting 'mixed messages'

The turnip mention has made me think thats why so thanks Plot.
